Gianfagna Legal Client Recognized for Marketing Achievement
Benesch, a prominent law firm headquartered in Cleveland and a client of Gianfagna Strategic Marketing, has been ranked the third best law firm in the nation for marketing and communications excellence by Marketing the Law Firm. Gianfagna is proud to have assisted Benesch in creating a multimedia recruitment campaign that was among the many marketing achievements touted by the judges who selected Benesch. The recruitment campaign included a creative brochure and a series of inserts detailing reasons why Benesch is a great place to be a great lawyer. In 2009, Gianfagna worked with Glazen Creative Studios to develop a new recruitment video for the Benesch website. Congratulations, Benesch!

Congratulations to our client, Rae-Ann Nursing Facilities, named “Best in the West” in the skilled nursing facilities category by West Shore Living Well magazine. Rae-Ann has won this prestigious award three years in a row.

Gianfagna Wins 5 Communicator Awards
Five client projects created by Gianfagna Strategic Marketing won Silver Awards in the 2009 Communicator Awards competition.

The 2009 product catalog Gianfagna created for Prentke Romich Company won in the Catalogs category and another PRC project, the launch direct mail campaign for PRC’s Vantage Lite speech device, won in the direct mail category.

The marketing campaign we created to help The Cornell Store at Cornell University promote its products during the fall back-to-school “rush” period was a winner in the advertising category. And the new capabilities kit we created for Rae-Ann Nursing Facilities won in the sales promotion category.

The Communicator Awards is a highly competitive marketing awards program, with over 7,000 entries submitted in 2009. The program is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a “Who’s Who” of media, communications, advertising, creative, and marketing firms. IAVA members include executives from organizations such as Alloy, Brandweek, Coach, Disney, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Estee Lauder, Fry Hammond Barr, HBO, Monster.com, MTV, Polo Ralph Lauren, Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Victoria’s Secret, Wired, and Yahoo!

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) has renewed its certification of Gianfagna Strategic Marketing as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE). Comprised of FORTUNE® 500 companies committed to supplier diversity, WBENC is the largest WBE certification organization in America. Certified WBEs like Gianfagna must meet strict criteria for financial viability, client service, stability, and ownership to earn certification.

Nancy O’Connor Promoted to Vice President
Nancy O’Connor has been promoted from Creative Director to Vice President, Creative Services, in recognition of her leadership role in the company and her responsibility for developing and implementing effective creative strategies for all Gianfagna clients. Nancy joined Gianfagna Strategic Marketing in 2001 and has won dozens of awards for creative and marketing excellence.

Gianfagna Adopts New Name, New Brand Identity

Gianfagna Marketing & Communications, Inc. has adopted a new name – Gianfagna Strategic Marketing – and created a new brand identity to better reflect the agency’s focus on creating and implementing strategic marketing programs and providing professional marketing consulting services. The new brand identity was designed by Senior Art Director Tiffany Skowronski and presents a clean, contemporary look for the company.
